Why Bosca Health?
Bosca comes from bosco, the Italian word for forest, and, by a lovely serendipity, it’s the first five letters of my surname. Forests have always symbolised growth, renewal, and transformation. So, Bosca felt like the perfect fit: a quiet nod to my heritage, and to the idea of regeneration and growth.
In Chinese culture, menopause is called the Second Spring, a season when energy returns in another form. In contrast, the West tends to frame menopause as a story of loss, of youth, fertility, desirability, something to be fixed with wrinkle creams, supplements, and denial. But it’s not an ending. It’s a renewal, a chance to grow in a different direction.
Bosca Health grew from those ideas - that perimenopause and menopause can be experienced as times of growth and transformation; that when health professionals understand this transition more deeply, they can transform the care of midlife women; and that workplaces, too, need renewing - to move beyond silence and create environments that support women through this stage of life.

Why that logo?
A brain within a woman’s reproductive anatomy reminds us how intricately hormones and mood are connected. The brain is a hormone-driven organ; shifts in oestrogen, testosterone and progesterone shape how we think, feel, sleep, and connect.
Bosca Health works at that intersection. We help clinicians and workplaces understand these changes, so women can be supported with insight and knowledge rather than stigma.

Can I book a clinician training session for my practice or health team?
Absolutely — wherever you are. I love presenting live, but I’ve also delivered training successfully online for teams across Australia.
Sessions have been very well received by West Brunswick Clinic, Harding Street Medical Centre, Pynk Psychology, the Schema Therapy Institute of Australia, and Coburg Clinical Psychology. Please contact us with your team’s requirements.
